Del and LouAnn Acton, Milford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Rae Acton, Milford, to Philip William McGuire, Warsaw. He is the son of Larry and Virginia McGuire, Elkhart.
The bride-to-be is a page at Milford Public Library; works at Childbirth Choices and Women’s Health Nappanee; and is a certified nursing assistant at Grace Village, Winona Lake. She was homeschooled, graduating in 2008. She earned a certified natural health professional degree from Trinity Health College in 2008 and a certified nursing assistant degree from Hagen Health Education in 2010.
The groom-elect graduated from Elkhart Baptist Christian School in 2003 and the Word of Life Bible Institute, Argentina, in 2006; and earned an associate degree in nursing from Bethel College Nursing Program at Grace College in 2009.
