NORTH WEBSTER – To pay tribute to The Dixie, a water parade will be held on Webster Lake at 4:30 p.m. today.
Lineup at “The Hole” starts at 4 p.m. There will be prizes for best decorated watercraft with the Dixie theme. The parade will proceed counter-clockwise around the lake, passing The Dixie at the town park.
Judging for the pier contest will begin at noon today. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. No preregistration is required. To be judged, place a yellow ribbon on your display.
In town, the North Webster Lions Club today is supporting garage sales, a flea market and food court. Setup is at 7 a.m. and starts at 8 a.m.
Power wheel race registration is from 11 to 11:30 a.m., with the race beginning at noon. It is for children 12 and under. Bring your own power wheel or use one provided by the Lions Club. There is no charge.
Registration for the demolition derby is at 5 p.m. with the derby starting at 6 p.m. Cost to participate is $30.
