The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Hoosier Tour Parade and Car Show made a stop in Silver Lake Wednesday morning. The cars were parked in front of Whetstone Woodenware on Ind. 14, and Splendor Boats on Ind. 15, Silver Lake. Members of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club were in Kosciusko County Tuesday night and Wednesday before they headed to Auburn for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival this weekend. Each year, the club picks a town in Indiana, Michigan or Ohio, and visits before heading to the festival, which is kicked off with a parade upon the arrival of the classic cars. The club is for all who are interested in Auburns, Cords and Duesenbergs, especially their restoration and preservation.
