Posted
Warsaw Police Officer Gordon Allen responded to a complaint of a man carrying a knife dragging a woman by her hair into a house on Detroit Street Sunday evening.
The complaint led to the arrest of Jennifer Sue Cole, 37, of 313 S. Detroit St., Warsaw, for manufacturing meth, possession of precursor, neglect of a dependent and dealing narcotics.
A Warsaw woman called WPD because a man allegedly dragged Cole inside the home. The man denied that he touched Cole and that he possesses a knife.
According to Kosciusko County probable cause report, the man arrived at the residence where he allegedly witnessed Cole and the Warsaw woman getting high in the bathroom and placing the hypodermic needle in a safe in the bathroom while Cole’s adolescent son was in the home. Officers received consent to search the home and found two hypodermic needles in a safe, as well as Drain-O crystals and other materials associated with the production of methamphetamine.
Allen found two hypodermic needles and used paraphernalia within Cole’s purse. After obtaining a complete search warrant, officers continued to find meth precursors within the home. Cole did possess two or more chemical reagents with intent to manufacture meth and did knowingly manufacture meth in the presence of a child, according to the affidavit.
