Editor, Times-Union: Abortions are 95 percent of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell says defunding industry giant will have to wait until 2017. His refusal to defund Planned Parenthood shows his role is to lead the Vichy branch of the Republican Party to fully cooperate with Obama. Americans don’t want to hear this nonsense because Obama is Planned Parenthood’s loudest cheerleader. We have historically refused to cooperate with entities that violate human life. For example, on D-Day in World War II General Dwight Eisenhower did not tell his troops that we were going to defeat the National Socialists so that we could cooperate with them.
