Abortion

Saul, who was later to be called Paul, went to the high priest and asked for letters to thespnagogues in Damascus, that if he found any men or women following Jesus, he could bring them bound to Jerusalem. On his way to Damascus, suddenly a light shined about him from heaven. He fell to the earth, and heard a voice from heaven saying, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest you me?" Paul said, "Who are you?" The voice from heaven said, "I am Jesus whom you persecutest."

We see here how personal it gets with Jesus when someone messes with one of God's children. Jesus didn't ask Saul why he was persecuting the children of God, but why he was persecuting Him.

We now have killed over 50 million unborn babies here in America, God's children. What do you think Jesus thinks of this? Or do you even care? Luke 18:15 and16 says: "And they brought unto him (Jesus) also infants, that He would touch them. But His disciples saw it, and rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, 'let the little children come to me, and forbid them not; for such is the kingdom of God.'"

Again, I ask you, what do you think goes through the mind of Jesus when one of God's created children is killed in its mother's womb?

When John the Baptist was 6 months old in his mother Elizabeth's womb, he leaped for joy, when his mother heard about Mary being with child (Luke1:44). Does this sound like a blob of flesh to you or a child that has feelings? When we stand before God, and we all will, I'm not sure what He will say or ask.

But what if He asks you what you did to try and stop the killing of all His children in the name of abortion? What will you say? Philippians 2:12, "Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." A large part of the church world has forgotten the "fear and trembling," even in the pulpits.
