ABC Approves 12 Petitions

Posted

Thursday's Kosciusko County Alcoholic Beverage Commission went smoothly as all 12 petitions and a continued petition from May were approved.

The continued petition was for Mosaique Restaurant, Warsaw, for beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales retailer permits. Last month, excise officer Patty Fleck continued the petition to June to check on Mosaique's food sales. Thursday, Fleck reported that the business sold more than $400,000 in food during the past year and thus meets the requirements for the permit.

New permits for beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales were approved for Clementine's II, 975 Anchorage Road, Warsaw. The petitioner, Harold Huyghe, Jr., repossessed the building and wants to reopen the building as a sports bar and grill. Huyghe has two other businesses that deal with alcoholic beverages.

Automatic renewals included:

• Ruby Tuesday, Warsaw, beer, wine and liquor and Sunday sales retailer permits.

• VFW Post 1126, Warsaw, beer, wine and liquor retailer permit.

• Shamrock Pizza, Silver Lake, beer and wine retailer permit.

• Downtown, Warsaw, beer, wine and liquor retailer permit.
