Posted
An American Bikers Aimed Toward Education and Indiana Hoosier Burn Camp fundraiser is Saturday at the Eagles Lodge in Warsaw.

Doors open at 8 a.m., and at 9 a.m. registration begins for the waterball tournament behind the Eagles lodge.
The waterball tournament starts at 10:30 a.m. People can organize or join a team.

Waterball team members will donate $20 per member to compete for a trophy. Trophies will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place winners.

All proceeds from the benefit go to the Hoosier Burn Camp, a non-profit organization that sends children who are burn victims to camp.

ABATE motorcycle riders and guests from all northern Indiana counties will meet at the Atwood Community Building at 9 a.m.

There will be an escorted ride at 10 a.m. The ride ends at the Eagles Aerie 1339, 1400 W. Center St., Warsaw.

The community is encouraged to line Center Street to watch the motorcycle ride.

Eagles’ doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry fee is $10 donation per person. Kids under 12 eat for free.

Riders will go east on U.S. 30 to East Center Street at Applebee’s restaurant and turn west on Center Street through the city to the Eagles.

An opening ceremony will be at 11 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the prayer led by Christian Motorcycle Association at the Eagles.

Immediately after the prayer, food will be served for a donation.

There will be antique and modern fire trucks on display.

There will be fire chiefs from northern Indiana and full-time and volunteer firemen on hand.

There will be a stop, drop and roll obstacle course, and a fire education trailer for kids.

A parent-child corn toss tournament will take place, and there will be free popcorn.

Clowns For Christ will perform from noon to 2 p.m., and there will be face painting for a donation to the burn camp, along with balloons.

The balloon guy is available for kids from 1 to 3 p.m.

Live Music from “Lincoln Highway” will be from 3 to 5 p.m.

A charity auction benefiting the burn camp will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
