The second meeting of the 65th year of the Warsaw branch of American Association of University Women will be at 7 p.m. today at the residence of Ellen Earhart, 1730 Jenny Lane, Warsaw.
Co-hostesses are Ann White, Lynn Groff, Connie Stavropulos, Rosemary Parker, Cindy Nolton and Janet Kirkpatrick. A program, “Unraveling the Mystery of Recycling and Environmental Management in Kosciusko County,” will be presented by Shelly Heckert, director, Kosciusko County Solid Waste Management District.
AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research, and is a local, state and national organization. The Warsaw branch meets six times a year, and gives scholarships locally to women that are working toward a degree.
Women from Kosciusko County that have an associate, R.N., bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree from a college or university are invited to attend the meeting. Members are encouraged to bring a guest or prospective member. Call Mary Eherenman, membership vice president, at 574-267-3992 for additional information or a ride to the meeting.
