The April meeting of the Warsaw branch of American Association of University Women will meet at 7 p.m. today at the residence of Ruth Jones, 508 S. Colfax, Warsaw. Co-hostesses are Becky Lambert, Lois Nichols, Renatta Erwin, Janet Kirkpatrick, Doris Everson and Jill Beehler. A program, “Changes in the Middle Schools – Travel Abroad,” will be presented by Dr. Chris Boyd, Edgewood teacher. Guests and prospective new members are welcome. New members joining at this time receive the bonus of the 2015-2016 year membership as well as the 2016-2017 membership. AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research, and is a local, state and national organization. The Warsaw branch meets six times a year and gives scholarships locally to women that are working toward a degree. Women from Kosciusko County who have an associate, R.N., bachelor's, master’s or doctoral degree from a college or university are invited to attend the meeting.
