Posted
WABASH – Singer and songwriter Aaron Lewis returns to the Honeywell Center in Wabash March 28 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event, sponsored by Bowman’s Body Shop & Heavy Recovery, go on sale Wednesday at 8 a.m.
Lewis rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Staind. The band formed in 1995, released their first album in 1996, and has since recorded six studio albums.
In 2011, Lewis released his solo country EP, “Town Line,” which was highlighted by the gold-selling single “Country Boy,” featuring the legendary George Jones and Charlie Daniels. The album earned Lewis two Academy of Country Music nominations in the Vocal Event of the Year category for “Country Boy.”
Lewis is currently on the road promoting his first full-length country album, “The Road.” The Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer tells one story after another on the new release, echoing traditional country with humorous and heartwarming songs, mixed with pensive and personal tales.
Tickets are $27, $39 and $60, and can be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 260-563-1102 or visiting www.honeywellcenter.org
