AKRON – Watercolorist Terry Armstrong will be the guest of the Akron Area Arts League from 4 to 6 p.m. May 22 in the Akron Community Center. He is a full-time fine artist living in Warsaw. He is a Hoosier-born artist and the natural beauty of Indiana inspires him as he uses watercolor, dry brush and egg tempera to capture the essence of the Midwest. Armstrong will speak about his life as an artist and do a small landscape demonstration. Participants are asked to bring finger foods to share and if available a landscape artwork of their own – just for display, no critiques will be given. The meeting is free and open to anyone who has an interest.
