Fourth- and fifth-graders at Pierceton Elementary School presented 'A Kid's Life' for the families and friends Thursday. In this musical play, a massive electromagnetic attack from outer space jams all technical systems, and there is no electricity, no cell phones, no laptops and - according to the kids - no fun! All the kids are in a panic until Grandma and Grandpa arrive on the scene with lots of fun ideas that don't involve technology. The children rediscover the fun of board games, listening to scary stories, jumping rope and even making music with pots and pans and washboards. Pictured is 'Grandpa' (Timothy Gensch) telling his 'grandchildren' a story.
