BOURBON - A. Jayne Gault, 66, of Etna Green, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 3:28 p.m. Dec. 10, 2009, in her residence.

She was born Sept. 3, 1943, in Warsaw, to Claude "Red" and Betty Baker Davis. She married David Gault, who died March 17, 2004.

A resident of the Etna Green area all her life, she was a homemaker and worked in real estate sales, as a waitress and owned craft shops in both Etna Green and Warsaw. She was a 1961 graduate of Etna Green High School. She was a life-long member of Etna Green Church of Christ and the Dorcus Missionary group; Order of the Eastern Star; Senior ONO, Etna Green; as well a helping other community groups and the Etna Green Lions Club. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking and crafts in her free time.

Surviving are three children: Sally (and spouse Scott) Kauffman, Bourbon; Scott Trowbridge, Etna Green; and Steve Trowbridge, Warsaw; two stepchildren, Dawn (and spouse Leonard) Gagnon, Silver Lake, and Kent (and spouse Missy) Gault, Bloomington; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Betty Davis, Etna Green; and a brother, Doug (and spouse Connie) Davis, Ligonier. She was preceded in death by three infants at birth, twins Tonya and Tommy, and Scott; and a brother, Tony Davis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Etna Green Church of Christ, 206 W. Broadway, Etna Green, with Pastor Jordan Ikes officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
