The lights come up on a bare stage where casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. The field has been narrowed to just 17 dancers. For these men and women, this audition is the chance of a lifetime. It's what they've worked for - getting the next job, the next chance to prove they are Broadway quality performers. From funny to heartbreaking, these 17 dancers share the stories of their lives putting themselves on the line to get a job on the line. And when they're done, so is the audition and the final chorus line of eight dancers is chosen.

John Rapson stars as the director, Zach, who delves into the dancers lives to find exactly the performers he needs. Rapson was last seen as Tommy in "Brigadoon," and last season as Heck Tate in "To Kill A Mockingbird."

Rachel MacIsaac, who recently played Sharpay in "High School Musical", stars as Cassie, the aging dancer who needs to get back to the roots of her career as a dancer in the chorus.
