SILVER LAKE - A 7-year-old Silver Lake boy was severely injured Sunday when he was involved in a lawn mower accident.
The boy, whose name was not released, reportedly lost a leg after he became entangled in a lawn mower.
The boy was taken by Samaritan Air Ambulance to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he remains today.
Emergency personnel at the scene said they are unsure of what happened and no further information was available.
South Central EMS was assisted by Lifemed EMS service, North Manchester and Samaritan.
