A Warsaw man was found dead Tuesday from an apparent accidental shooting at his residence.
James M. Cartwright, 64, of Ivywood Drive, Warsaw, was found about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in his garage, according to a Warsaw Police Department press release. It is believed the shooting occurred the previous evening.
Cartwright died from a single gunshot wound from a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun.
Police said Cartwright was attempting to clean the weapon Monday evening when the gun discharged.
