MILFORD - Six people were arrested Saturday morning for their alleged involvement with meth at a Smith Street residence in Milford.
Around 6:34 a.m. Saturday, deputies from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department responded to a call regarding a possible robbery.
When officers arrived, they smelled a strong chemical odor usually associated with the making of methamphetamine.
Officers found a meth lab at the residence, 210 Smith St., Milford, and arrested six people who allegedly were involved in manufacturing the meth.
Michael Gene Christian, 41, and Jeremy Lynn Jarrett, 26, both of Kendallville; Tyler Joseph Griffin, 20, and Mickgomery Wade Hisey, 20, both of 210 Smith St., Milford; and Cory Lee Ramer, 23, Fort Wayne, all were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for manufacturing methamphetamine. All are being held on $20,000 bonds.Megan Susan Ramey, 19, of Wawaka, was arrested for dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine as well as on Noble County warrants for two counts of failure to appear, one for possession of methamphetamine and one for resisting/fleeing law enforcement. She is being held on a $200,000 bond.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was called to the scene to dismantle and dispose of the lab.
