5K, 1-Mile Run In May Benefits Jacob's Ladder

WINONA LAKE – A 5K and 1-mile run has been planned for May to raise funds for a pediatric rehabilitation center for children with special needs.
“Kolors for Jacob’s Kids” is a Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy fundraising project developed by Sarah Boyle and Rachel Jungbauer to support the Warsaw office of Jacob’s Ladder.
The event is May 4 beginning at 10 a.m. in Winona Lake Park.
Jacob’s Ladder is a not-for-profit provider of pediatric rehabilitation services in Northwest Indiana.
Founded by a therapist looking to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs, Jacob’s Ladder continues to make progress where a traditional rehabilitation clinics may not.
The cost to participate is $20 by April 25 and $25 for registration received after April 25.
Race T-shirts will be available for $10. People may pre-order the shirt with race registration.
Splatter Ladder awards will be presented for most colorful finishes. Times will be read at the finish line, but awards will not be presented for finish places.
