PIERCETON - Four Marion teenagers suffered minor injuries in an early Sunday morning wreck on Ind. 13
Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department was dispatched at 12:35 a.m. Sunday to Ind. 13, 1,000 feet of north of CR 525E, in Pierceton.According to police reports, Kincea D. Walker, 17, Marion, was headed southbound on Ind. 13 when she said she was passed by a unidentified vehicle when her vehicle went off the road.
Walker overcorrected when a passenger in Walker's 1995 four-door Dodge Intrepid, Nicole Perotta, 17, Marion, grabbed the steering wheel causing the car to leave the road once again.
Witness statements stated that Walker's vehicle and two other vehicles were seen headed southbound on Ind. 13 driving erratically, passing each other and shutting off their headlights.
Walker suffered minor bleeding to the face while Perotta complained of knee pain.
Two other passengers in Walker's car also were injured.
Damien Jones, 17, Marion, suffered a face injury while Spencer Scott, 16, Marion, complained of leg pain.
The estimated damage was between $2,500-$5,000.
All four teens were treated at the scene and released.
