Their booking information just lists their addresses as Warsaw. All four were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Dec. 15 and each had a preliminary bond of $450.

According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources incident report, at 7:16 p.m. Dec. 15 an Indiana conservation officer was contacted by a landowner about a hunting without consent issue in Kosciusko County. The landowner had launched a drone and observed lights in the field to the east of his property. The landowner continued to monitor the lights, but they shut off as the individuals started walking across the field toward his property.

Still operating the drone, the landowner witnessed the lights turn back on as the individuals entered his property behind his residence.

The landowner had people trespassing on his property previously on Dec. 2 and Dec. 11, according to the report.

Conservation officers headed to the property. One of the officers got off a golf cart and walked part of the way, where he witnessed Ricon with a firearm and walking slowly west of the property. Rincon was holding a black flashlight shining the area for Ricon. Ricon was moving through the grass with the firearm out in front ready to shoot, according to the report.

The officer identified himself and Ricon pivoted and pointed the gun at the officer, putting it down after the officer identified himself again.

The officer heard the landowner speak, who had stopped two other people, later identified as Lambrano and Teran. The officer went to where the landowner was and retrieved a second firearm and a compound bow Lambrano and Teran had laid down on the ground.

The officer walked Teran, Lambrano, Ricon and Rincon out of the woods on the property. Another officer arrived on scene and they tried to identify Teran, Lambrano, Rincon and Ricon, but they wouldn’t give officers identifying information. They also didn’t have any form of identification.

An officer searched the area with his K9 and located an arrow near the area where the compound bow was seized. The arrow was collected into evidence.
