4 Arrested After Illegal Drug Activity Investigation By NET43Three Warsaw residents were arrested on drug and drug-related charges and a fourth was arrested for visiting a common nuisance after an investigation by the Kosciusko County Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET43).

Following the leads from several drug-tips provided by concerned citizens, law enforcement officers assigned to NET43 began an investigation into illegal drug activity in the Warsaw area, according to a news release from Warsaw Police Department Capt. Brad Kellar on behalf of NET43.

On Sept. 8, NET43 officers served a search warrant for illegal drugs and items associated with illegal drug sales at 2441 W. CR 250S, #105, Hideaway Hills Mobile Home Park, Warsaw.

During the interaction with various suspects and the execution of the search warrant, NET43 investigators intercepted approximately 56.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine, U.S. currency, marijuana, THC vape pens and paraphernalia used for illegal drug ingestion and dealing illegal drugs/narcotics, the release states.

These drug investigations resulted in the arrest of four individuals. The persons arrested were:

• Donna Marie Anderson, 68, of 2441 W. CR 250S, lot 105, Warsaw, for four counts of dealing methamphetamine, Level 2 felonies; four counts of possession of methamphetamine, Level 4 felonies; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; and three counts of possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a Level 3 felony. Bond was set at $25,000 surety and $500 cash.

• Douglas Keith Story, 53, of 2441 W. CR 250S, lot 105, Warsaw, for possession of a narcotic drug, a Level 6 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond was set at $5,000 surety and $250 cash.

• Johnathon Wayne Rusher, 21, of 2441 W. CR 250S, lot 105, Warsaw, arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond was set at $5,000 surety and $250 cash.

• Brianna Rusher, 18, of 2441 W. CR 250S, lot 105, Warsaw, arrested for visiting a common nuisance, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond was set at $250 cash.

NET43 is a collaborative law enforcement unit, consisting of officers from Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, Warsaw Police Department, Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Lake Police Department and Nappanee Police Department.
