How much do we value representative government? Should we be without a 3rd district representative in Congress until a November election - one-fourth of a term? Mark Souder chose to resign immediately rather than to appear before the House Ethics Committee, so no one can speak for us until after a special election!
We need a 3rd district advocate not only to vote, but more importantly to serve on committees to give information from our area when representatives write legislation and provide oversight.
We need jobs. We have an educated work force ready to go and structures for new ventures. We have university resources to help us develop new energy products. We need a leader in Washington to promote our assets.
