The Parkview Muddy Trail Run Saturday at the Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation in Pleasant Lake brought out nearly 300 runners. The Muddy Trail Run was designed to be a fun obstacle course where participants endured wading through mud pits and climbing up sand dunes, all for a good cause, according to information from Junior Acheivement of Kosciusko, Marshall and LaPorte Counties. The Parkview Muddy Trail Run is a partnership of Junior Achievement and Anthony Wayne Area Council Boy Scouts of America. Proceeds benefitted both local organizations, and registrants could direct their support into their community. This event was made possible because of the title sponsor Parkview Health and additional sponsors BAE, Garrett State Bank, All State Insurance, 21 Alive, Ciocca, Frontier, Nucor, Wood Forest Bank and Ben Davis Chevrolet, according to JA.
