3 In Jail After Guns, Drugs Taken From Home With Kids Present

Three people are in jail after police reportedly discovered guns and a meth lab in a home with six children.
Warsaw Police Department responded to a complaint of possible abuse or neglect of children at 4117 Heron Blvd. Thursday.
WPD Sgt. Brad Kellar and patrolman Brian Martin, along with a member of Child Protective Services, arrived at the residence in question Thursday afternoon.
Police received a report that there was a loaded handgun in the home near six children, ranging in ages from 4 to 12 years old.
Police found two loaded shotguns upon entering the home, along with items used to make methamphetamine. As their search continued, police found two more loaded handguns.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab was called and assisted in processing evidence at the scene.
At the scene, Tasha Marie Parker, 25, of 4117 Heron Boulevard, Warsaw, was arrested for dealing Methamphetamine, possession of an illegal drug lab and maintaining a common nuisance.
Stanley Gordon Salyer, 34, Leiters Ford, was arrested for dealing methamphetamine, possession of an illegal drug lab and possession of a handgun with an obliterated serial number. Salyer was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
Tia Marie Parker, Nickolasville, was arrested for possession of marijuana and booked into KCJ on a $450 bond.
The children at the scene were released to family members.
