A Friday evening fight at Green Acres Mobile Home Park sent two men to the hospital and three others to Kosciusko County Jail.
Around 5:45 p.m. Friday, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call regarding a fight in progress at Green Acres Moblie Home Park. When officers arrived, they found two severely beaten men in the road near lot 14.When Multi-Township EMS arrived, they determined that one of the men, Miguel Angel Jiminez, 32, of Warsaw, needed to be airlifted to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, for treatment of severe injuries.
The other man, Antonia Tlahuextl, 47, Warsaw, also was taken to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, for treatment of his injuries.
After conducting interviews and an investigation, officers found that Jimenez allegedly was intoxicated and driving through the trailer park when he hit a parked vehicle.
Following the accident, Jiminez and a passenger in his vehicle, Margorito A. Hernandez, 38, of Warsaw, got out of the car and got into a verbal fight with Tlahuextl.
Jiminez and Hernandez reportedly beat Tlahuextl until he fell to the ground.
Then Andres Tlahuextl, Antonia's son, and Armando Ortega, reportedly began to attack Jiminez. After Jiminez was on the ground, Andres Tlahuextl and Ortega allegedly continued to punch and kick him in the head until he lost consciousness.
Andres Tlahuextl, 28, of Warsaw, and Ortega, 31, of Warsaw, were each arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and his bond was set at $350.
Jiminez was listed in serious condition at Parkview Hospital Saturday, while Tlahuextl was in fair condition. Neither man was listed in the Parkview Hospital directory as of this morning.
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said that alcohol was prevalent in several of the people involved in the incident, and more charges are possible.
