3 Face Meth Charges

SYRACUSE - Three area individuals were arrested over the weekend on methamphetamine charges during the serving of a warrant on another matter.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers went to 9870 CR 700E, Syracuse, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday to arrest Dennis Paul Culler, 20, on a failure to appear charge.

When Culler opened the door, officers noticed a strong odor associated with the production of methamphetamine. Officers found a finished one-pot meth lab and several items used for the production of methamphetamine.

Also taken into custody at the residence were Stephen Jay Cooper, 23, of 7246 E. Black's Ct., North Webster; and Jessica Lynn Harrell, 23, of 10571 S. Lakeview St., Silver Lake.

Culler was arrested on the outstanding warrant and preliminarily charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Cooper and Harrell were both arrested and preliminarily charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

All three suspects were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail each on bonds of $100,000.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were assisted by Syracuse Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Dept. officers and Warsaw Police.
