ARGOS - A 12-year-old Argos boy awoke Monday morning to find his parents and sister dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
At 5:56 a.m. Monday, Marshall County Sheriff's office received a 911 call from the Snedeker residence at 14741 Michigan Road, Argos.
Police believe that on Sunday night, 39-year-old Terry Snedeker killed both his wife, 36-year-old Susan Snedeker, and their 19-year-old daughter, Shayla Snedeker, before shooting himself while the couple's 12-year-old son was asleep upstairs.
According to police, evidence indicates that Terry Snedeker shot his daughter while she slept on a couch in the home's living room. Susan Snedeker's body was found in the kitchen.
According to a police report, the son discovered the bodies when he awoke for school Monday morning.
Police reported the Snedekers had experienced marital issues and that a divorce had been filed in October in Marshall County courts.
The exact cause of death is pending autopsies arranged by the Marshall County Coroner's Office.
