A Silver Lake man was arrested Monday afternoon for allegedly dealing cocaine.
Abelardo Torres, 26, of 303 E. Sycamore, Silver Lake, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 5:16 p.m. Monday for dealing a controlled substance, a Class B felony. His bond was $10,000.
Undercover officers from the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force reportedly purchased one-fourth-ounce of cocaine from Torres in the parking lot of a Warsaw business.
After the purchase was made, the officers arrested Torres.
The task force was working from information that Torres, formerly of Warsaw, was dealing cocaine in the Warsaw and Silver Lake areas.
The drug task force was assisted by the Warsaw Police Department in the incident.
