A Warsaw man is in custody for allegedly raping a woman at her home on the west side of the city.

Carlos Cevilla, 23, of 1692 E. CR 200N #49, is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $10,000 bond. He is charged with rape and criminal confinement.

According to Warsaw police, Cevilla entered the 23-year-old woman's home about 8:30 p.m. Monday, forced her to have sexual intercourse with him and prevented her from leaving the bedroom where the incident reportedly occurred. Authorities were summoned to the residence at 9:40 p.m. Monday.

Police said the woman knew the man because he gave her a ride home from a local bar a week or two ago. However, she didn't know the man's name.

Cevilla, who is from Honduras, allegedly is in the United States illegally, police said. Officials at the Department of Immigration and Naturalization Service have been contacted.
