A child was present and witnessed the battery, according to court documents.
She said Miller ran out the back door, knocking the door off its hinges. Officers saw the door had been broken and the victim had red marks on her neck.
The victim has a no contact order against Miller, which was served on him July 18.
A KCSO news release stated that while deputies were gathering further information, the victim reported Miller was possibly in Warsaw. The information was relayed to the WPD, which had officers in the area.
KCSO deputy Shawn Castillo found Miller southbound on North Detroit Street in Warsaw. He arrested Miller on three active warrants.
Officers found Miller had a plastic bag containing marijuana and a glass smoking device.
