NORTH WEBSTER - Two area men were arrested Saturday evening on methamphetamine charges.

Indiana State Police officer Chad Larsh spotted a vehicle driven by Scott Reiter, 47, 8581 E. Ruedeville, North Webster, pulling into a residence at 122 CR 400W.

Due the driver's actions prior to stopping at the residence, Larsh believed the vehicle didn't belong there, especially at 1:30 a.m.

Upon exiting the vehicle, Larsh questioned Reiter and his passenger, Michael Vining, 36, of 3581 S. Palestine Lane, Warsaw, concerning their reason for being there. Both men said they didn't live at the residence and a search of the vehicle turned up a container containing methamphetamine. Also found were Schedule III pills and precursors for methamphetamine.

Both were arrested without incident and transported to Kosciusko County Jail, where they were charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Both men's bonds were set at $2,000.
