2 Injured In Crash On Ind. 13SYRACUSE - Both drivers in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning on Ind. 13 suffered injuries and were taken to local hospitals.
The crash occurred at 8:21 a.m. at the intersection of Ind. 13 and CR 900N, according to information provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Doug Light.
A red 2011 Nissan Altima was traveling north on Ind. 13, approaching CR 900N, when a silver 2017 Chevy Equinox proceeded to pull out in front of the Nissan from CR 900N. The Equinox was making a left turn from CR 900N onto Ind. 13. The information states the Chevy pulled out in the path of the Nissan.
The driver of the Nissan had a leg injury and other complaints of pain, and the driver of the Chevy had a head injury. Both were transported by EMS to local hospitals. Names have not yet been released.
Assisting the KCSO at the scene was North Webster Police Department, Indiana State Police, Tippecanoe Township Fire and EMS, and Crouse Wrecker Service.
