An Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office crash news release states that Naomi Kagin, 46, Winona Lake, suffered lacerations to both hands. Rosanna Kagin, 13, Winona Lake, suffered lacerations to her head and hands.
At 10:40 a.m. Monday, on CR 17, north of CR 142, 4 miles west of the city limits of Goshen, Naomi Kagin was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla south on CR 17. The Corolla slid on the icy road and ran off the west side of the street, according to the release. The vehicle flipped over multiple times before stopping right side up.
