Two Kosciusko County men are in custody as a result of a four-month investigation by the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force.

Joshua F. Hamman, 24, of 4416 W. CR 525S, Claypool, was taken into custody without incident in Hebron on three outstanding warrants. In addition to a Class A felony charge of dealing methamphetamine, Hamman faces unrelated charges of criminal mischief and failure to appear. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and his bond is set at $21,750.

Joshua W. Newsome, 20, of 3285 Ind. 19S, Mentone, is being held in the KCJ on a charge of conspiracy to deal methamphetamine, a Class A felony. His bond is set at $20,000. Newsome was taken into custody in Warsaw.

According to a press release issued by the drug task force, both Hamman and Newsome are considered "medium-level dealers" in the Kosciusko County area.

During the course of the investigation, drug task force members reportedly purchased large amounts of methamphetamine from Hamman while he lived in Burket.

Assisting the drug task force in the arrests were officers from Warsaw Police Department.
