2 Arrested At Alleged Meth Lab In Silver Lake

SILVER LAKE - Details were made available Monday on the arrests of two men on meth charges in Silver Lake Friday.

After an investigation by the Silver Lake Police Department, a search warrant was executed at 308 N. High St., Silver Lake.

A lab believed to be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine was discovered.

Two men who live at the residence, Donald R. Jenkins, 51, and Troy L. Beeks, 34, were charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. They were booked into Kosciusko County Jail early Saturday morning.

Both men's bond were set at $10,000.

Charges are pending on a third suspect.

Claypool Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Kosciusko County Prosecutor, and the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team were also involved in the investigation. The State Police Clandestine Lab Team was sent in to dismantle the meth lab.
