18 Warsaw Students Accepted into Honor Bands

Eighteen students from the Warsaw Community Schools Band Program were recently accepted into the Honor Bands organized by the Indiana Bandmasters Association.

High-achieving band members in grades 10-12 are accepted into the All-District Band, which rehearsed and performed at Dekalb High School Nov. 10-11.

Students from Warsaw Community High School that qualified for the All-District Band were Samantha Bontrager, Joseph Marshall, Mason Sumner and Andrew Tomasik.

The All-Regional Band is comprised of high-achieving band members from the area in seventh through ninth grade.

Edgewood Middle School band members that qualified for All-Regional Band were Kyle Christenberry, Lauren Orr, Matt Kolbe, Daniel Terry, Samuel Bolduc, David Homne and Bobby Zogbi. Lakeview Middle School band students Brad Nethercutt, Jannalynn Niebla, and David Zoschnick also qualified for the All-Regional Band.

WCHS freshmen Jon Lemler, Noah Scott, Kole Smith and Lindsey Wolf were also accepted into the All-Regional Band, which rehearsed and performed at Dekalb High School Saturday and Sunday.
