Kosciusko County Sheriff's deputies received a call of a driver leaving the scene of a property damage accident near the intersection of Rozella Road and Ind. 25 at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
KCSD found Taylor Fuentes, 16, of 2052 S. Blue Spruce Court, Warsaw, running south on Ferguson Road just north of 200 S. Upon further investigation Fuentes admitted he was the driver and that he did not have a driver’s license.
Fuentes has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.
The witness who called in the incident reported seeing Fuentes running from the scene heading south toward Ferguson Road in a red shirt and black shorts. The witness also said that the vehicle was moving at a high rate of speed before impact with a utility pole.
Fuentes was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail where his parents were called and he was detained at Pierceton Woods Academy.
