Police are investigating a rape report made Sunday involving a 14-year-old girl.
The teen-ager's father notified the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department of the incident at 4:22 p.m. Sunday. The rape allegedly occurred several hours prior at a residence west of Warsaw.
The alleged suspect is an acquaintance of the teen and entered the residence she was at without permission. The teen was the only person in the home at the time.
After police were contacted, the victim was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment.
