A 14-year-old Milford girl reported Saturday that she was raped last month at a Cromwell-area residence.
The victim was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital by her grandmother for an examination.
The incident allegedly occurred Oct. 23 or Oct. 30 while the teen was a runaway. The girl wasn't sure of the exact date, but said she knew it occurred on a Saturday.
The suspect is a 17-year-old Cromwell male.
The girl told police that the teen-age male held her down and forced her to have sexual intercourse with him, but that the act was not completed because somebody came to the door of the residence. He allegedly told her that she would regret it if she told anyone what happened.
The matter remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
