12 Face Charges In Underage Drinking

A dozen alleged underage drinkers were arrested Saturday - 10 at a party in the early morning and two at a high school prom.

The larger group was reportedly part of a party at Eastgate Apartments, Warsaw, where an anonymous caller tipped off police about 11:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived at the location, several people were at the apartment at 509 Clinic Court that was rented by Nicholas Paul Laing, 20, according to a Warsaw Police Department report.

Laing and nine others were charged with illegal consumption or possession of alcohol by a minor and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail. Bond for each was set at $175. All were booked between 12:32 a.m. and 1:48 a.m. Saturday.

The others arrested were:

• Christopher Daniel Osbeck, 21, (his birthday was Sunday, but he was 20 at the time of his arrest), of 131 EMS C17 Lane, Warsaw;

• Robert Schilling Kesler, 20, of 2341 S. Paxton Drive, Warsaw;

• Luke David Saylor, 20, of 1302 S. Mary's Drive, Warsaw;

• Joshua Miles Polk, 20, Beacher, Ill.;

• Michael M. Wiley, 19, Marion;

• Macy Marie Moore, 18, of 2349 E. Kemo Ave., Warsaw;

• Trina Kay Norregaard, 18, of 1516 S. Meadow Lane, Warsaw;

• Shawna Lea Hoard, 18, of 209 Woodcliff Drive, Warsaw; and

• Jenna Michelle Davis, 18, of 107 N. Wray St., Atwood.

Taken into custody Saturday night at Warsaw Community High School were Anna Marie Shipman, 18, of 1222 E. Center St., Warsaw, and Brian E. Seiffert, 18, of 621 S. Columbia St., Warsaw.

Both were charged with illegal consumption or possession of alcohol by a minor and booked into the KCJ. Bond for each was set at $175.

All of those arrested posted bond and were released from custody.
