1 Suffers Shoulder Injury In 2-Vehicle CollisionOne person complained of pain to the shoulder after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred at 3:19 p.m. at the intersection of East CR 700N and North CR 200E, Leesburg.

According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, a 1994 International 4600 pickup truck, driven by Todd A. Boggs, 54, Syracuse, was stopped at the stop sign facing south at the intersection of 200E and 700N. Boggs told the investigating officer that he did not see the 2012 Dodge Journey coming from the west on 700N. The truck entered into the path of the Journey, driven by Thomas A. Books, 33, Warsaw, causing the accident.

The Journey hit the side of the truck, causing disabling damages. The truck had passenger-side damage and was still driveable. Boggs was not injured in the collision.

The Journey had heavy front-end damage and was towed.

Books complained of shoulder pain and was taken by Lutheran EMS to Goshen Hospital.

Damage was estimated at $10,000 to $25,000.

The pickup truck is registered to Juan C. Rico, Warsaw.
