1 Dead, 1 Critical After RolloverSEWARD TOWNSHIP - A Claypool woman is dead after a single-vehicle rollover into a field early Saturday morning.
An unidentified second person was flown in critical condition to Lutheran Fort Wayne Hospital, according to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Alice Dills, 57, Claypool.
As of Sunday, it is unknown who was the driver and who was the passenger, Francis said.
A passerby located the crash three-fourths of a mile north of Ind. 14 on CR 750W, and the KCSO received the call at 6:25 a.m. Saturday. It is unclear when the crash occurred but both occupants were ejected from the 2004 Cadillac SRX, he said.
Along with the KCSO, responding were the Burket Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
