It’s been a busy, and successful, week for the Warsaw Lady Tigers tennis team, playing their fourth match in as many days against conference foe Wawasee Thursday afternoon. The Lady Tigers continued their solid week with their third win, taking the match 5-0. Warsaw is now 4-4 this season, 3-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.

The Warsaw Lady Tigers softball team entered the bottom of the seventh inning trailing the Northridge Raiders 8-3 but batted through the entire order scoring 6 runs to finish off the Raiders 9-8 with two outs left in the final frame at the Tiger Softball Complex Wednesday night.

It was a tough offensive day for the Manchester Squires baseball team Wednesday evening, as the team dropped its first conference game of the year 1-0 to Maconaquah. The Squires were held to just one hit in the game as the team fell to 7-6, 2-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.

Grace College’s softball team dropped a pair of contests to St. Francis on Tuesday afternoon to close out the home portion of the 2023 season.

Grace College’s softball team capped off its Senior Day doubleheader by topping Goshen 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

After suffering a tough 10-0 loss at the hands of Goshen Wednesday evening, the Warsaw Tigers baseball team bounced back in dominant fashion Friday night, defeating conference rival Plymouth 9-2. Warsaw is now 4-3-1 this season, 2-1 in the Northern Lakes Conference.

The Warsaw Lady Tigers softball team registered its first victory of the season, 10-5, against county rival Wawasee Thursday night at the Tiger Softball Complex.

Grace’s baseball team battled Saint Francis in the first of two doubleheaders on Thursday afternoon. The Lancers added another late-inning victory to the win column, scoring the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to win the opener 6-5. The back half of the twin bill went to the Cougars 11-1.

The Manchester Lady Squire tennis team has seen a plethora of early season success this spring, continuing its ascension with a 4-1 victory over Wawasee Thursday night. The Lady Squires remain unbeaten this season, now holding a 5-0 record to go with a perfect 3-0 start in the Three Rivers Conference.

Both the Warsaw Tigers and Wawasee Warriors started slow in their Northern Lakes Conference opener Tuesday evening, but it was the Tigers that were able to wake up quicker, scoring 10 runs in the final three innings to leave Syracuse with a 10-0 victory (five innings) over their conference rivals. Warsaw improves to 3-2-1 this spring while the Warriors fall to 0-5, still searching for that elusive first victory.

The Warsaw Tigers boys’ track and field team launched its 2023 Northern Lakes Conference campaign hosting the Mishawaka Cavemen and the Goshen RedHawks Tuesday night.

Grace’s baseball team plated 20 runs to bounce back and earn a series split with Goshen on Tuesday afternoon. The doubleheader was moved back a day because of inclement weather. The season series with the Maple Leafs ended with each team taking two games.

A group of Warsaw Distance runners performed well on Friday at the elite Flashes Distance Showcase, dubbed the Miracle Mile.

Grace College’s athletic department is pleased to announce a groundbreaking for its new baseball facility.

The prestigious Don Dicken Classic was held at Stonehenge Country Club in Winona Lake Saturday afternoon, with 15 teams from across the northern half of the state competing. The tournament was won by the Westfield Gold team, which posted a score of 282 and were the only team to finish below 300. Homestead earned a second place finish while Valparaiso rounded out the podium in third.
