PIERCETON — Around 20 people attended Pierceton's town council meeting on Monday, several of whom raised concerns regarding a proposed sidewalk project along Third Street.
Fred Miller Jr., a devoted family man and a beloved member of the community, passed away surrounded by his family on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital at the age of 75.
Butler Johnson, of Warsaw, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the age of 91. He passed away in the loving care of Paddock Springs Assisted Living in Warsaw.

Warsaw baseball’s Monday night home game against Concord was a momentous one for a number of reasons. First, it was Senior Night, and four seniors were honored before the game for their careers at Warsaw. Next, a win over the Minutemen would clinch the Northern Lakes Conference title outright for the Tigers. On a night dedicated to the seniors, it was freshman Grady Nelson’s big night that helped Warsaw win 7-3 for the championship.
