A Warsaw man was arrested after leading police on a pursuit Sunday.

Da-Lite Sues For E-Mailer's Identity

Hoping to learn where an electronic mail item came from, Da-Lite Screen Co.Inc.has filed a lawsuit in Kosciusko Circuit Court. Although the lawsuit names "John Doe" as the defendant, it seeks a subpoena ordering Wave One to disclose the telephone number from which a Sept.7 e-mail originated and that, once identified, Doe be ordered to turn over any Da-Lite Screen business records in his or her possession and to enjoin Doe from further use of Da-Lite's records or e-mail system.The communication was allegedly sent by "Deb Davis," but it is not known if this is the sender's legal name.

Paragon Medical Acquires Companies

PIERCETON - Paragon Medical announced Wednesday that it acquired a cluster of four companies in New Jersey and Florida. Paragon Medical Inc., a supplier of surgical instrumentation, implantable components and delivery systems, acquired Mark Machine Inc.and Ortho-Craft Inc., manufacturers of precision orthopedic instruments and medical devices headquartered in Fairfield, N.J., and their affiliate companies Osteomac and Ortho-Precision, respectively. The acquisitions were completed Dec.16.Mark Machine, Ortho-Craft and Ortho-Precision are in Fairfield, N.J., and Osteomac is in Pompano Beach, Fla. Structurally, Mark Machine and Osteomac will maintain their corporate identities.Ortho-Craft and Ortho-Precision will fold into Mark Machine.

Tips Lead To Drug Arrest

Several tips through the "Enough" campaign led to the arrest Tuesday of a Warsaw man. Michael Otto Hale, 27, of 1120 E.Winona Ave., is being held in Kosciusko County Jail on charges of dealing in cocaine (more than 3 grams) and dealing in cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, both Class A felonies, and dealing in a lookalike substance, a Class D felony.A charge of being a habitual felony offender is being pursued through the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.Hale is being held in KCJ in lieu of $100,000 bond.He was arrested Tuesday afternoon at his residence. According to undercover police officers with the Kosciusko County Special Operations Team, several tips were received through the "Enough" program about Hale allegedly being involved in drug dealing.The investigation has been ongoing since July.

Two Held In Milford Meth Bust

MILFORD -ÊTwo men were arrested early this morning for allegedly running an illegal methamphetamine lab on CR 1050N just west of CR 200N near Milford. Timothy Alan Shear, 44, of 1181 N.Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse, and Brandon Michael Eggeson, 27, of Howe, were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail shortly before 5 a.m.today on charges of having an illegal drug lab and criminal trespass.Both are being held on bonds of $5,000. Both men reportedly have a history of involvement with meth, and both have been arrested for possession of precursors to making methamphetamine in the past. Around 2:30 a.m.today, officers from the Indiana State Police and the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department saw a Ford Ranger pull up to a barn at an old farm on CR 1050N.People entered the barn carrying items believed to be used for manufacturing methamphetamine.
