MILFORD - With the news that New Beginnings Preschool and Child Care will be closing, the Milford Town Council authorized the clerk-treasurer to advertise for proposals for another childcare provider to move into the building at 706 W. Syracuse St. in order to continue to provide that service for Milford residents.
The potential purchasers of the former Marsh building at 501 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, want to possibly convert the building into an antique artisan mall.

I grew up in Nappanee in the ’80s and ’90s. Because our town was home to lots of working class families like mine, our schools received extra money from the federal Department of Education (DOE) called Title I funds. I can’t say with certainty how our district used those funds, but I’d bet they created room in our budget for things that made school feel like home to me.
