From now on, all visitors to the Justice Building will be greeted by law enforcement and pass through a metal detector. As part of the process, visitors will be asked to empty pockets of any metal objects. Warsaw will host one of four meetings by the Northern Indiana Passenger Rail Association to discuss the next steps in securing funding for a Chicago-Fort Wayne-Columbus passenger rail line.
Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer and the mayors of eight other cities announced today that they will sign a memorandum of agreement calling for cooperation in development of a Chicago-Fort Wayne-Columbus passenger rail line, according to a press release from Thallemer’s office.
