The remarkable postseason run of the Manchester football team came to an end on Friday night, as the Squires fell 42-0 in the 2A Sectional 35 championship game to Bishop Luers. The Squires end the season with a 5-7 record, their most wins in a season since 2007.

The 2023 cross country season came to an end Saturday afternoon at the state championship races in Terre Haute. Both of the Warsaw boys and girls teams competed for the state crown, finishing eleventh and fifteenth.

A pair of top-ten finishers paced the Warsaw cross country teams on what was yet another successful day on the course Saturday at the New Haven Regional. Both boys and girls teams earned the top five finishes necessary to qualify for the state meet this weekend in Terre Haute.

The Warsaw boys and girls cross country teams fought through some rough conditions Saturday morning to take home a pair of sectional titles at the Manchester sectional. The boys won with a team score of 36 while the girls brought home the title with a 49.
