Sharon L. Pletcher, of Goshen, age 79, died on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 9:58 a.m. at her home in Waterford.  
She was born on Nov. 26, 1945, to Lynwood and Virginia Taylor Cushman. Sharon was a 1964 graduate of Georges Valley High School in Thomaston, Maine, and then graduated from Zion Bible Institute in Providence, R.I., in 1967. She married Ronald R. Pletcher on July 6, 1968, in Port Clyde, Maine. She was a pastor’s wife for many years and later became an instructor at the Faith School of Theology in Charleston, Maine. After relocating to Indiana, she worked at World Missionary Press. Sharon loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and it was very important to her that they knew and loved the Lord.
Surviving is her husband, Ronald, of Goshen; son, Richard (Beth) Pletcher, of Nappanee; daughter, Tamie Chadburn (Joseph Chadburn), of Goshen; nine grandchildren; brothers, Earl Cushman, of Florida; and Paul (Judy) Cushman, also of Florida. Sharon was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Cushman.
A graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Memorial contributions may be given to World Missionary Press.
